The felt experience of balancing your energy
It comes with its own rewards that make it worth every minute
I gave only basic options and descriptions in my last article about energy balancing tools. Now I want to tell you of my experiences in actually using them.
The Eeman screens biocircuits and the Edgar Cayce radial device I described both produce more global bio-energetic balancing than acupuncture. The work through most or all the meridians at once. No need to select which ones. In other words, they’re quicker, more complete, and more cost-effective.
I first found out about Eeman screens in 1995 from a little paperback book written by a Monk in Oklahoma. I made a set, tried it, and didn’t get the results I wanted. I don’t know why. (It was also my first attempt at meditating.) Maybe because I didn’t keep trying. In any case, the next year I tried the Cayce radial device. It worked very well.
Between February and May of 1996 — back when I looked like this …
… I used the radial device consistently. I started using it at least twice daily for short sessions of 15 minutes. Weeks later, 30 minute sessions. Eventually I only needed consistent once daily sessions for a few weeks with breaks of a week or so at a time.
By April or May when I was at an appointment with a body worker, I got a verdict on the accumulated results. At the beginning of each session Rusty would check all my reflex points with his fingers. At one session (the first one, I think) he told me, “There is no stress in your body.” (And that was after driving through the Dallas traffic to get there.) He pressed as far into my abdomen on each reflex point — with no tension resistance, no bounce-back from any of my muscles — nothing.
During my sessions of using the radial device I followed the recommendations to use an affirmation or mantra to focus my mind and meditate. The radial is so effective at magnetically balancing energy quickly that it made meditation much easier than usual. After many of these sessions I entered a state that I came to call The Universal Field of Compassion. That sounds rather highfalutin’ and mystical, and it was, but it was all so natural and simple. I just kept my mind focused on breathing gently and sinking deeper. At some point in one of those sessions I entered the space between thoughts and became so deeply peaceful and calm beyond description that I was essentially mentally and emotionally empty of everything. Except a unified feeling of compassion for all life. Me, everyone, and everything else all together. No separation. All one.
That’s The Universal Field of Compassion.

My radial appliance (battery) quit working sometime around late May (or June?). When I hooked up to it there was no longer that good feeling of relaxation happening. There was tension or nothing. The person who made it didn’t know how to fix it.
Then I fell in love and well, kinda lost my mind (in a good way, of course). But my use of the radial battery in meditation sessions in the months leading up to that is what allowed me to finally overcome my fear of rejection and let myself love someone for once (and let her know it). It was life-changing.
In the last few years I finally found someone who can both make and repair the radial device (my friend James Knochel: https://radialappliance.teslabox.com/product-category/radialappliance/). Turns out, it’s pretty simple. I simply use an ordinary magnet from the fridge to demagnetize it. So anytime I am not getting good results, or my body tests weak when I do a muscle response test (MRT)1 of the battery, I just run that little magnet in circles over each end and up and down each side of it. Every single time I’ve done that, it muscle tests strong again and has given me good results.
Back to 1996. I didn’t know what to do after that particular radial battery quit working. But a couple years later I discovered a catalog company called Tools for Wellness that sold Eeman Screens biocircuits. So I bought a copper set. I used it pretty frequently with good results. Hooking up to it was much easier and the device was far easier to maintain than the Cayce radial battery. I’d feel some tingling in my extremities along with relaxation. It came in waves building up to a point, then would stop. I also noticed I tended to feel more energized after a 15-20 minute session on the copper biocircuit. I didn’t have quite as deep a relaxation into a spiritual place like I did with the Cayce radial battery, but I was still happy with the results.
But the desire for deeper relaxation and stress relief led me to order the silk version of the Eeman Screens from Tools for Wellness. It was said to be better for sensitive people like me, since the copper becomes a bit stimulating/irritating to the human nervous system after you’ve been hooked up to it a while. I know I used my copper biocircuit for some longer sessions, but not much over 30 minutes. After 20-30 minutes the effects would flatten out. I wanted something to take me deeper.
The silk biocircuit simply sedated me and sapped my energy. So much so that it reversed my bio-electric polarity2. That can have all kinds of negative effects you don’t want. So I shortened the sessions to just a few minutes and the silk still had that effect. If I didn’t stop the session after just a couple minutes, I’d end up with crashed energy and reversed polarity. Clearly, the silk biocircuit was not for me (at least not in that form). A couple years later I mailed it to an internet girlfriend who I thought could benefit from it. (We had a falling out so I don’t know her results.)
From the late 1990s until the 2010s, I was only able to find moderate and temporary benefits from either the copper biocircuit, a silk cord, or other radial batteries I ordered. All these devices will pick up your (unhealthy) energies, stray energies, etc, and need to be cleaned and cleansed. I don’t think I properly maintained the set of copper Eeman Screens, with diminishing results over time. In the last year, I learned from a few experiences that the Cayce radial battery must be maintained very attentively or any given session can leave you with unwanted after-effects.
I bought another Cayce radial battery in mid-2020 and began using it that August. In my 50s now, my imbalances are way more imbalanced than anything I had to deal with in my 20s. It’s taking a lot more time to layer the cumulative benefits. I’ve not yet had one of those spirit-come-to-body mystical-oneness moments again.
However, I just unhooked from a session on the radial battery this evening and in 35 minutes (my second session today) feel like I’ve erased a month’s worth of stress. I went too many weeks not using it, and boy, I’m not gonna do that again.
I don’t know what you will feel by using one of these devices. You won’t know either unless you try it. Some people feel no physical sensations while using a biocircuit. Some feel the benefits accumulate enough to keep doing it.
You could spend thousands of dollars on acupuncture sessions, or have a device that will achieve even more for you — and whenever you want to use it.
Making time for sessions balancing your energy also cultivates discipline and consistency. You’re committing to your spiritual, mental, and physical well being and healing. The benefits accumulate.
With what I’ve learned in the last few years, I trust no one to make my radial appliance but James Knochel. He applied himself very studiously to understanding the device, how to make them properly according to Edgar Cayce’s very specific instructions, and how to maintain and repair them. As a result of his instructions and help I’ve used mine far longer than I ever did back in 1996 and I know it is going to benefit me for many years.
I’ve also kept a full copper biocircuit and my wife has one too. I’ve got some silk cords and know where to get more so I can make a more subtle biocircuit that way I found that by using far less silk mass I can avoid the energy sapping effects I’d had back in the 90s with the full set. It doesn’t take much silk at all for me. That’s the most portable biocircuit there is: a couple strands of natural silk cord long enough to connect sacrum to head and/or hands to feet.
There’s an added extra good feeling about coming home tired when you know you’ve got a device that can help wipe away your stress and settle you into a good night’s sleep.
I’ve purchased a solution jar that allows inclusion of various minerals or substances into the radial battery circuit. I’ll pass along any experiences with those too.
Spirit (energy) is the life, mind is the builder, the physical is the result. That’s what Edgar Cayce used to say. His radial device can teach us how that actually works, making exceedingly clear. While using it, my bio-electric creative force is pulsing through me allowing me to easily envision the life I truly want to live — and seeing it come into being.
Muscle Response Test: applied kinesiology using a particular muscle of the body (shoulder or leg) to test electrical response in the presence of a sample of substance, food, or supplement to be ingested, inhaled, etc. It can also test your bio-electric response to a color — or an idea.
Bio-electric polarity: the human body functions like a battery. If the electrical poles get reversed, the energy flow cannot coordinate nerve impulses or support body systems properly. It can result in all kinds of health issues, some of which can seem to be ‘mental health’ problems. Correcting the polarity can resolve them rather quickly.
